Our intention is to provide a safe and enjoyable show. Because of the Covid-19 health issue, we have instituted the following policies which apply to all exhibitors and attendees:
As of 8/26/2021, Illinois has instituted a mask mandate for all indoor spaces. Therefore our show in Wheaton, IL will require exhibitors and attendees to wear masks while in the buildings of the show. Masks are not required outdoors.
The Covid-19 situation continues to vary venue by venue. Several venues are being converted back to vaccination centers, others are imposing onerous restrictions which will make the show not viable. We have updated our schedule with 5 show cancellations (Belleville, IL, Council Bluffs, IA, Louisville, KY, Portland, OR, White Plains, NY). We hope to reschedule all of these in 2022. In addition we are planning for the Great Midwest Train Show in Wheaton, IL to be on the first Sunday of the month in 2022. We are sorry to make these Covid-19 cancellations and changes and appreciate your understanding in this very difficult situation. We continue to monitor the situation closely and publish updates to our website as soon as situations are known. Please stay safe, healthy and happy during this time of turmoil that is beyond our control.
The October Great Midwest Train Show in Wheaton will now be on October 17th instead of October 10th. We needed to make this change due to a date conflict with fairgrounds.
We just had our first show since the pandemic closure on July 24 & 25 in Monroeville, PA. The show was a huge success! Exhibitor participation was 20% greater than we anticipated, attendance was up 25% from previous shows and many exhibitors reported strong sales. Our early indications is that this trend will continue as advanced sales for booth exhibit space and public tickets are exceeding our expectations.
Please consider joining us at a future show.
The September 25-26 Victorville, CA Great Train Show is now available for dealer sign up. Please go to our website exhibitor area https://www.trainshow.com/exhibitor-area and you can now sign up on line for these shows. You can also sign up with our paper application which is available here:
